Poetry

     All poetry books are collections not only of Dr. Nesbitt's poems but also of excerpts from his prose books, commentaries on current moral issues, plus notations and reflections on matters pertaining to Christian living.

     Dr. Nesbitt's poem, "Counterforces," was selected for the 2004 fall edition of The Poet's Corner, a quarterly publication of the International Society of Poets. Five poems were selected from around the world, three from other countries and two from the United States.

     In addition to Dr. Nesbitt's inspirational poems, Dr. Nesbitt offers nuggets of spiritual discernment to enlighten and bring hope to souls shrouded in darkness.  Click on links to read Dr. Nesbitt's poems: "Shadows of Hope" was in first position in The Best Poems and Poets of 2003, and "Forfeiting Mission" was in first position in Best Poems and Poets of 2004.
